Wednesday 25th December 2024
EFL Championship - West Bromwich Albion
Head-coach Carlos Corberan resigns at West Bromwich Albion.
He leaves to take the head-coach job at Spanish club Valencia, compensation agreed.
Stoke City have parted company with head coach Narcis Pelach just 19 games into his tenure at the club, stating that the Catalan was "not the right fit".
December a busy month of sackings & resignations up to now -
5 sackings & 4 resignations, could there be more, with perhaps one at the NYS ?

I posted that Julen Lopetegui was sacked on Monday 06th January, after a media report that
Graham Potter was offered the job, but only on a 6 month contract, to which Potter turned down.
Then West Ham United did some back tracking on the sacking announcement, & allowed Lopetegui
a stay of execution according to media reports, even allowing him to take training.
West Ham United today 8th January sacked Lopetegui & 5 staff members, after coming to a agreement
with Graham Potter to take charge, on a contract to 2027.
The treatment West Ham United have showed Lopetegui is as bad as it gets, its like a condemmed man
on the scaffold, with a noose around his neck, waiting for the executioner to pull the lever, for a amount
of time.
May be sacking David Moyes was a mistake, at least he won them a trophy in Europe.
