That’s purely down to the RM and the nerds.

Fans know what JJ and DC can do long before tonight’s game, another goal for AJ who is filling them boots very nicely thank you. Special mention to Edwards, thought it did very well which is great news for our midfield.

Finally special mention to the supporters over 10,000 on a Thursday night when it’s on TV. Get out of here! We are above the trend for sure.

Very enjoyable, is SM actually getting the best out of Crowley with letting him roam a bit??? Thought the work rate from Edwards was outstanding and he’s pretty quick too, certainly got an engine on him at even 30. All round very good performance, not overly worried about the goal we did let in as we defended very well and sometimes the ball just drops kindly but shouldn’t be overlooked either.

Nice to see you back gumpy, agree with your comments. We may have got lucky with a couple of decisions, but we were clearly the better side.

Just hope Dan and Jodi didn't attract too much interest elsewhere with their performances.

Why would you want to play for Mk Dons in a stadium in front of 5000 or less supporters...

Fantastic performance from start to finish with our midfielders running the show. Add to that Bass who commands his box, Macari who seems to have stepped up at least a couple of levels and Jatta whos movement is excellent. Minutes in new megs and Matty back. Have to give some credit to SM he set out an attacking format and some beautiful moments of play and deserves that performance and win

Excellent performance tonight, helped by a fluid 3-4-3 formation that freed up the players to perform at their best rather than shackling them. I must admit, I was surprised to see Edwards playing further forward than Crowley, considering the goal threat Crowley brings, but it clearly didn't damage Crowley's ability to get into scoring positions, and the way he dictated play was outstanding.

The attacking play spoke for itself and we set a much higher tempo than against Fleetwood, but just as importantly, we were defensively proactive, with Platt, Bedeau and Macari snuffing out a lot of Grimsby's attacking moves early. As was said when they signed, Platt and Bedeau seem to win a lot more "first contact" challenges than their predecessors, and that's really important. Win those, and you have to make last ditch, body-on-the-line challenges as often.

    Well done everyone, including Maynard.
