    I was at the Man City v Forest FA Cup semi last month and the Spurs v Brighton game a few weeks back and alcohol was being served at both stadiums pre match and at half time and no sign of any trouble so if the Nigels can do it then I don't see any problems with it in our country......as long as it's banned on Old Firm day that is.

    I?m with Ogren on this - time for a grown up approach to Scottish football and improving the experience for fans

    They serve drinks in hospo so why not for the regular fans at tannadice

    I'm not sure that more alcohol will improve the experience for everyone, when did that ever happen anywhere? Maybe a grown up approach would be being able to go a couple of hours without a drink? As has been said,people can go to the pub before and after the game,surely a 2 hour gap isn't that hard to put up with. With the hatred that's present within our game,more alcohol isn't ever going to improve things.

    Our team would surely profit from bevvy being sold in the ground no? Even if it was just in the home end for now.
