Now 8 without defeat, 5 wins and 3 draws and yet still from a very very depleted squad. No regular striker(s) up front the entire second half for us, speaks absolute volumes in taking a point today. Well done Matt, his crew and our team for a great backs to the wall performance.
I'm currently on maneuvers, coordinates are 13.0684? N, 59.5675? W fighting off a 31 degree day.....Not my laptop so making quick use of one while it's available hence the early posting of the PL today,
No Shows:No Pocket? Must have been an oversight from him as he's always keen to post.
Weekly winner(s): Wowzer....no one hit double digits with some right upsets from todays results. Three of us though did manage to score 9 points each and in no ascending order they were, Leeds Miller, Glenn Miller and myself so, we each bag 5 extra points. Well done us three.
Predict a score: Got the score correct but to the wrong team, as it finished Leicester 2 v 1 Stoke. There were also three winners claiming this, a triple rollover, so all collected 9 points each. Well done to Glenn Miller again! Harry Bow and Grist.
Joker(s) played: x 2 had a go today and it was the turn of CT Milller and myself.
CT Milller doubled up to a respectful 10 points and I doubled up to 18 points.
Wooden Spoon(s): Glad I was no where near one today having played my Joker. Like I said, it was a low scoring week with plenty of 5's and 4's being scored. Alas there was a lower score than than that so, the spoon this week is collected by Nardendee
who scored 3 points. I know the feeling pal but take it away, it's all yours this weekend.
A few more breaking the 100 point barrier: Well done to Harry Bow and Lol Morgan.
Cayton still holds the top spot but, after a good scoring day from Glenn Miller, Leeds Miller and myself he's well within our crosshairs now, along with a strong chasing pack. Has he peaked too early? As more Jokers are played, the net closes in on himbut he still looks down and laughs at CAMiller
over their annual duel.
Meanwhile at the bottom end, Grist has suddenly made it look very interesting after his good score today.
