Just got notification of Ashes Test Match tickets at Perth in November - 40 Aussie dollars a ticket which I think works out at around ?20 plus an admin fee of around 4 Aussie dollars. Shame it costs thousands to get there.

I?m there for the Boxing Day test. Been on my bucket list forever. Pretty cheap, tickets and hotel works out at less than ?100 a day! That?s the same price as the last Ashes ticket I brought at TB 10 years ago!!!

A great win off the final ball in Birmingham tonight to keep the T20 season alive after last night's pitiful surrender to Derbyshire*. A brilliant innings from Tom Moores scoring 74 off 33 balls including 6 sixes.

* Last night was a masterclass in T20 bowling from Samit. He looked like his shirt size had gone up to a 6XL, but 3-14 off four overs is incredible bowling in this format.
