Agree Delvin is just taking a wage now unfortunate for the lad he is nice guy but he has never been fit or made a contribution

I think Bryson getting Bryson off the wage bill should be a priority. He’s obviously been very unlucky with injuries but he was signed as Shinnies replacement to make an instant impact and he’s made no impact whatsoever. Time to move him on .

Cosgrove to be sold too if a decent bid comes in, allowing us to sign a first choice striker as a replacement, with Main as back up, and either Watkins or Edmondson extending their loan deals for the rest of the season, to give us a third option.

That’s the risk you take signing veterans, and players with a patchy injury record.

I get it’s the only way we can get certain players, but I think we do it far too much & we’ve suffered for it most seasons recently.

It’s why I get particularly pissed off when DM cites injuries as an excuse for poor performances or a shyte season like last season.

I think if Watkins can score some goals he’d be a good option. His general play is very good, better than cosgroves, but he doesn’t have a great scoring record which is what you really want in your striker I guess.
