I doubt its any surprise to know that ive been watching the figures quite closely in relation to the weekend of shame at the beginning of the month. Thing is, im not yet seeing any significant uptick in new infections that i can say is because of the Zombie Gatherings. Only thing i have heard is, there was a number of people identified through test and trace who admitted to attending the celebrations, some who would have been spreading the virus at the time.
Now i know some of you may see this as trying to downplay the events, but i am as pissed off as anyone as to the consequences of that weekend, its just i wasnt surprised it happened. Im sure i will have more to say on this as this week progresses, but at this minute, its looking like some of the restrictions we have had to face may have been too much!
would say that if all those clowns dancing hugging singing fighting etc have not made a difference then someone has to explain what is going on if thousands can join up and behave like that without spreading the plague then someones at it.Did you manage to get to that site yesterday? It updates daily at 2 just looked Angus is under 20/100,000 on the 14/3 as is 3 days behind and still in lockdown scary.
Yes bud, and its the same site i use for the vaccination progress, and since tHeArAb mentioned it, the 7 days/100k figures i use.
I have to say though, i agree with us staying in lockdown for now and until 2 weeks after all the initial 9 Cohorts have received their first dose. But i do agree with you that the case to keep us where we are is becoming more flimsy by the day.
18.9/100,000 and only 22 positive cases in the whole of Angus over the last 7 days.
Ho Sturgeon, get us oot this f*ckin lockdown!!!!!
