From what I recall I’m sure Derek Young was playing right back and Foster was in midfield.
Only 14000 at the game too, surprising considering so many people wanted McGhee as the manager and it was a European game.

Langfield, Mulgrew, Foster, McDonald, Considine, Kerr, Aluko (Paton 73), Young, Duff, Miller, Mackie (Maguire 60).
Subs Not Used: Nelson, Crawford, Holm, Megginson, Ross.
I don't think any of them would get into our current team, with the exception of Considine who is obviously still hanging around, and probably Aluko. I do remember all the players, with the exception of Holm... who was he? Ross I take it was Maurice Ross? Dire stuff.
That team might have been pish but it was how unfit they were that stuck with me.
Only good thing that night was making a few quid off the bookies as they priced up that mob at 3/1
Tommy White, who played as centre forward (Proper Mannies’) for us in the first Dons match I attended, has died aged 80.
We swapped Don Kerrigan for him with Hearts, but he was little better than Kerrigan. I think he went to Crystal Palace along with John McCormick later that season, and seemed to do OK.
His brother was John White of Spurs and Scotland, just before my time, but whose early accidental death (hit by lightning whilst playing golf) I can remember being big news, probably in 1964.
Jeez, I like to think of myself as a bit of a trivia buff but I had nae clue that The Ghost's brother played for us.
RIP fella.
