Meanwhile, with British travellers returning from Denmark having to quarantine for 14 days, we now have the Iceland football team playing in Denmark on Sunday and playing at Wembley on Wednesday. Someone, somewhere is extracting the urine and lots of people are being taken in with it all.

Surely both teams are isolated in bubbles and regularly tested, like they are here.
Denmark has low total numbers of cases 58000 and 755 deaths since April, ,(only a couple of days for those here) so the risk of contacting anyone with it is low and they haven’t had a mink COVID case for several weeks. The Iceland players will wear masks too if they bring mink coats lock em up.

33,740 the official figure given, today the number is down to 27,301, that's 6,439 fewer Covid cases, a 20% reduction in one day, we're clearly over the worst.

Down and down and down it goes, where we'll end up no one knows, 21,363 the latest figure, 12,377 down on four days ago, 37% down in just four days. Strangely I've not heard this good news mentioned by the BBC yet, they seem to have taken a time out on reporting the number of 'cases'. Can't imagine why, but there you go.

Let’s hope it continues, but Mondays reports are based on Sunday’s data and registry offices are closed, they also only open mornings on Saturdays, so Sundays reports are usually lower too. So don’t be surprised if the trends over past weeks are repeated and there is a rise.

Long Covid leads to organ damage

Younger patients battling 'long Covid' can suffer damage to multiple organs four months after beating the infection, according to researchers.

More than 60,000 Britons are thought to be affected by long-lasting symptoms of Covid-19, including fatigue, breathlessness and pain.

Early findings from the COVERSCAN study sheds light on the impact of the virus on people deemed low-risk. Data showed almost 70 per cent of volunteers had damage to one or more organs, including the heart and lungs.

data is based on 201 patients with an average age of 44, four months after their positive test result.

Out of those people, 197 said they suffered fatigue, 176 muscle ache and 166 headaches.

Most of the people who had symptoms such as fatigue also had organ damage, results showed.

Death figures over last few weeks suggest today’s numbers will be much higher but let’s hope not.

Yes I know OC, the weekend figures are low, and then they catch up, it also depends on the number of tests they carry out, more tests, more 'cases', fewer tests, fewer 'cases', and there's also the fact that many of the 'cases' are actually false positives, but no one knows how many. So in effect, the figure is meaningless, which is what I've been saying all along.

You seemed to want to use these figures credibly earlier Sinkov
