He will be here until the end of the season and after he fails to get us promoted again despite an embarrassment of riches (again) he will be unemployed. That's all there is to it. We move on in the hope that we get something other than a bang average manager next year.

Think most of us know even Davy & Pedro that Ardley is here until the end of the season. We just hope the that it is only until the season ends.

Do you think his contract will be renewed IF we are promoted?

Of course this thread needs revising after our first defeat this year why wouldn't it?

    Classic NCM

Maybe a decision at the end of the season still? Perhaps? Maybe?

If Ardley and his beloved HArdleyBall were to win us Promo, Laddo, I've got no problem with his contract being renewed. But would he accept a 3 month contract?

My worst nghtmare is that Ardley will get us promoted, then we will have to put up with poor boring and lackluster performances for at least another year. Also at a higher level with better opposition managers with more tactical understanding it could get embarrassing and an immediate return to non leaugue would be on the cards

Contrary to popular belief I'm not related nor his agent. Regardless I would say he would very likely turn down such a short term contract.

If I were the owners and Ardley got us up I would offer a one year contract to be reviewed at the end of that season, assuming we were comfortably safe from relegation.

@biker, that's not my worst nightmare. Right now I would happily take lacklustre perfomances in L2. It's not like we haven't witnessed them dozens and dozens of times before in the past decade or so.

    Great statement laddo
    Looks great on paper..
Now could you dissect that and confirm how many good teams we beat in that run
Also takeaway the build a bear wins that no one gives a monkeys about?

I agree it's misleading as the fixture list has been undoubtedly kind so far this year but it's not like during this favourable run we've had Top 6 or even Top 3 form.

As you fully know already until yesterday we had the best (No.1) form out of everyone in the entire league.

Favourable fixture list or not you can't do better than 1st in the league form table.

I assume we've now moved down to the lowly position of 2nd or 3rd after yesterday's game?

Have the other teams pushing for promotion been beating better sides?
