For example, 80+ is now at 9.1% dose 2 and rising quite slow because the bulk of care homes are being dealt with. Because 70-74 are in that no mans land of not working and less likely to be in care homes, they are only 1.2% dose 2 vaccinated, where age groups between 16-64 are showing higher percentages because they are of working age.
Nah, don't buy that. I know people who have refused the vaccine and others that have said they will do. Also there are people with health risks that will be offered it and choose not to take it. I find it very hard to believe that any category will reach 100%.

To be fair chick can only go on what wee nics people are telling us they are saying all 70-74 have had it I have never believed everything polititions tell us but to be fair I don't know anyone in this group that has not had it but if you do then obviously they are lying not chicks fault for believing them though.

In the old thread, myself and Offshore in the very early days, questioned the deaths reporting, and my thinking on this is no different. Do i believe the figures? No, but its a set of figures that is available from the NHS, which should be removed from political bias, that is based on estimates for each Cohort and age group, so while it says 100% for the bar graph, it may not actually be 100%. To me, Estimate Exceeded in the way they reported the Cohort progress is a better term.

JJ, i dont know anyone who has so far said no, but that does not prevent me from agreeing with you. But like Brian has said, i can only use the figures that i have in front of me, and as i have noticed, it is from the same places others on here look at.

My issue is with the figures and not Chick's relaying of them which I think is perfectly clear. Also if the figures are directly reported by the NHS I don't see why it has anything to do with Nicola Sturgeon. I am also not saying that anyone is lying, just stating that there is no way 100% of any age group will be vaccinated.

If they are saying 100% have had first vaccine and 100% have not had first vaccine that to me is a lie?Boris and wee nic have took all the plaudits for the numbers we are getting of vaccines done so if the numbers are not true then they should take the flake for it.I am not saying the numbers are not true though do you know anyone in that age group who has not had the vaccine?

Yes I do, as stated in the above post. I don't know how these figures are calculated, but if it is purely people who were offered a jag and have been given it, do you actually believe the figure is 100% in any age cohort?

To be fair I found 100% hard to believe myself but until now had not heard from anyone else who knew anyone in that age group who had not received it and to be honest thought it was a very stupid lie if it was not true if they were trying to mess with the figures to look better thought they would put 98% or 99% so if anyone like you knew of people in that age group who had refused it or not received it for any reason would still believe their figures. You have now proved that their figures are not correct and if that age group is not correct then are any of the age groups can we trust any of the figures they are giving out?Only thing I thought might make 100% right was if was only people who could receive jab but you know of people refusing it so figures are just not true.

I think the % figures that are given out are % of people who have been offered the jab, not whether they have taken it or not

What have the NHS to gain from using an offered figure? With the numbers involved, 2m have had their first jabs, so surely the offered figure with the size of age groups as they are now, there must be another 250-500k offer letters out there?

Nic for a while repeatedly mentioned the figures were based on doses administered and not offers. This was at a time where Boris et al, were saying Offered quite a lot in creating headline figures, something i have to say they are about to pay for if my suspicions are to be proved right.

That would make sense but does not really tell us anything 10,20,30 or 40% in each group could be refusing it we really don't know how many have had it just how many have been offered it.
