    Brentford 4 United 0

A goal for Ben and a 4-0 win over the Red Devils, a good day for a player who no PL club would be interested in signing.

I reckon we would have stuck four on them as well. In fact, I would have scored for definite.

I was really pleased after his mistake in the first match. I wish him well. He did well for us.

I was thinking Mal, why can't we play against a keeper who'll give us a two goal start.

Haha, go on then, I shall bite. Why would any player who has been very loyal to his club and manager wish to sign another contract when his manager was kicked into touch and he would have been taking a cut in salary and playing for a new manager who, in his quest to field a young team, could quite easily have kicked him into touch anyway.
As it stands, Ben has played two games for a club who have scored 6 goals and who have 4 points in the Premier League after two matches, he could have been in a squad playing at a lower level which still can't score goals and who also have 4 points from 3 matches at a much lower level. Knowing the attitude of quite a number of our fans he would have got the blame for Watford's winner yesterday, in fact, he probably still has because he would not stay at the club.

I knew someone would be daft enough to bite mein Freund!

I had just watched the Firm's resident Nazi having his life picked apart on TV. Edward the Eighth should have been hung for treason. I'm not kidding either.

BT, that's all history and is not important in the grand scale of things because it won't affect the price of oil, energy prices or anything else that is thrown at we plebs. It has always been us and 'them' and despite all efforts by people trying to change things ---it will remin the same. Why? Easy, bcause those who fight for change would then be in control and they would be 'them' but we would still be us.
Tell me what's happening tomorrow and I'm interested because that will affect my day ---history is very much yesterday.
Keep smiling ---life goes on and we may score on Tuesday night.
