    Not good

If we have to play all LC games away from Dens.

Harder to be one of the best group winners and get seeded without home advantage

Don’t think playing any of they teams at Forfar/Arbroath/Montrose should make a difference to the outcome, I’d rather they took the time to get pitch right than gamble with it

Well we didn't win last time at Arbroath and should have lost.

Forfar and Montrose are artificial pitches, that always has a bearing on a game.

And if the pitch ain't ready as promised for the start of the season it's only a week later it maybe required for a league game.

I'd blame Nelmsy but naebody really listens 🙄

Like to think we’re a different team since the last time we played Arbroath

First game is due away from home, two weeks is a long time for grass growing, you should know that with your green fingers

We lost to Airdrie on artificial as well.

Get a good draw and possibly ****ed up by pitch no being ready.

Yet we are meant to be taking the cups seriously. 🙄

I've actually got a better lawn ( well 3 lawns 😎 ) than Dens.......certainly never had to dig it up 3 times in 5 years.

I blamed Nelmsy on a Dundee FC supporters page on Facebook for the state of the Dens Park pitch and I was told by a Dundee FC supporter who lives in Suffolk that Scottish Water and Dundee City Council were to blame for the drainage problems with the Dens Park pitch.
According to this ‘expert’ in Suffolk every time there is heavy rain in Dundee the manhole covers in Dens Road are blown off due to the volume of water in the Dens Road drains.
If this ‘expert’ is correct then why has Nelmsy not complained to Scottish Water and Dundee City Council about the drainage problems in Dens Road.

Maybe because Scottish Water said this wasn't the problem with the Dens Park drainage?

    Maybe the expert is wrong?

Simple question, if DFC really believed that was the problem what clown has decided to redo the whole pitch before the dens rd drains sorted?

Pitch is the priority at the moment and the draw has been kind so we shud be fine.
Hopefully the owners back the manager like they usually do and we can build on last season.
