I suppose all time spent on here is ‘wasted’ to an extent, Swale.
I’ve never noticed any reticence on your part to point out the silliness/stupidity of certain comments on here or in the press so, when confronted with equally daft articles and responses about the desirability of the return of Craig Bryson, I’ll do the same thanks.

Reports of Shinnie returning. Retrograde step? Considering the amount of playing time he got at Wigan you'd have to say most definitely so. Yet another well thought of ex player, as with Bryson, who shouldn't return and damage his status with the fans.

with Bielik possibly back, the revival of Max Bird and the emergence of Liam Thompson I dont think we need Shinnie for the holding midfield role

.... even if he's still up to the role.

Apart from being little, Scottish midfielders I don’t think the two have much in common.
At their best Bryson is light years ahead as a footballer but, as was originally said, his best was a long time ago and he must now be considered ‘injury plagued’.
Shinnie is six years younger, not injury prone and never wanted to leave us in the first place. He wouldn’t necessarily be top of my wanted list but, given the circumstances, I’m not surprised he didn’t really settle at Wigan and I’d happily have him back if the deal was right.

You mean its been mentioned in the DET? No other reports as far as I can read! Perhaps we should have one thread, DET transfer rumours totally unconnected with any semblance of truth? Then anybody can post the latest clickbait linking Derby with an ex player an out of contract player or whatever, none of whom will actually be signed by the club.

Reports of Bielik picking up a knee injury while training with Poland...... GT 2.0?

Lighten up, Swale. We’ve all had a tough year and the light at the end of the tunnel MAY be in sight at last...or it could be another ‘train’ coming!
Looking on the brighter side, all supporters of all clubs enjoy playing the ‘signings game’ at this stage of the year and we probably need it more than most.
As far as I’m aware there have been three links...Aden Flint (yes please)...Craig Bryson (no thanks and, as you say, probably totally unfounded) and Graham Shinnie (we could do a lot worse and I think he’d be welcomed back).
Those are my opinions on a football forum, personally I find it less wasteful than exchanging insults with the likes of DCFCA and Tricky...that really is a waste of time.

Looks like a very expensive flop. Massive shame, clearly talented.
