Aye, it's very stupid. The batsman can be out and not out to the same ball. It's Schrodingers cricket.
A rule that gets on my tits;
“Umpires call”.
After a review, the ball can clip the stumps, but because the umpire said not out, the batsman remains in.
It’s a nonsense.
If it clips the stumps, the umpire is wrong, you’re out!
It’s like saying in fitba “ach he was only a few inches offside, so let the goal stand”.

I’ve no real issue with it as ball tracker is not, nor can it be, 100% accurate and that margin of error is taken into account:
“…in marginal decisions where the ball is predicted to clip the edge of the leg or off-stumps, conclusive evidence - ball tracking - must show more than 50 per cent of the ball hitting the stump for an on-field decision of an out to be upheld. Otherwise, it can be overturned”.
England, what a bunch of ****ehawks.
273 in a 50 over one day game wouldn't be too difficult, so there was no reason not to go for it.
Morning Vintage, Morning Everyone.
Exciting England v India 5 test series starts today at Trent Bridge. Eng win the toss and bat first.
Very close tbh. India have a real chance with Stokes and Archer missing. Think it will be a draw, 2-2. Hopefully Rooooooot gets his form back.
Ffs, burns gone in first over. 0-1
