Rain or shine, Rodrigo will always be one in a million....
Watched full highlights as once again too ill to stay up even though i tried. Seemed very even with same amounts of chances. Both keepers were great and that proves the myth about keepers having to be certain age is just a myth.
Only one thing i didnt like was why the heck was Roberts playing?I mean the kid is a central striker yet he is supposed to play a hernandez roll.
Also i think WTF mentioned he doesn't understand how young Pat cant get a game and I'm in the same corner it's a shame to show such good form surely starting roll form only to miss out.I figure he would have given more than what roberts can playing that position.
Anway both teams played well and none deserve to lose but football you take your chances and you win. Ohh and Dallas might pay to look where you going to hit the ball as he would have seen the defender covering for the keeper and might have given it a bit more power rather than taping the ball.
Think it may have bobbled a bit on him and come off somewhere close to his ankle which meant not a lot of power in it.
Who cares though 3 points - top 6 and quite a lot of very good performances not least the new lads. Meslier was outstanding.
I also take it back against Bamford - he is looking more and more like a number 9 on recent showings - making better runs, hitting it first time and even with his right.
A game that could definitely have gone either way. But thought we had the better of the play in general, so right to edge the points in my opinion. Absolutely delighted for Bambi at present. Always worked hard enough to deserve something in return, but needed to start putting some away. Whether his run of goals can continue is the big question, but at least he is going out there confident for the time being! Only other real obsevation, is that I'd like to see Harrision put a few more of those early crosses over instead of bawking to do so and playing off to others. Think he edges himself behind the line enough to be able to get more into centre. Always looked a chance when he did.
And would rather have seen Man City win today to be honest!
