Good thread....and I respect everyones view - we are all right to varying degrees as none of this is black and white - I think its healthy to talk about this stuff, in fact it should happen more often in the wider world. Who knows, it could result in folks not having to resort to extreme actions.

The main worrying thing about extremists, left or right, is that they are basically very ignorant. In fact too ignorant to learn anything about their actions.

Extremism leads to (opposite) extremism and you see it time and time again. So, if you have extremist views and are happy with the current way of things then get ready to be disappointed/angry soon.
The people who ‘need’ to be convinced are the moderates who are the majority and they tend to shy away from extremist views. Preaching to the converted whether it’s proud boys or blm will not be successful for long.

So BLM have caused what we are seeing on TV screens in D.C. and it has nothing to do with THAT MAN and the division he has sown for 4 years nor the conspiracy theories he has stoked nor him literally telling them to march to the Capitol building after riling them up?
