    This’ll be Gavin’s first pre season for a few seasons so he and Queens will be understandably cautious and won’t want to rush him in too soon and risk injuries in these friendly matches.

    Still a bit away before he’s fully fit. No point in risking him IMO.

    Wullie in Friday's Dumfries Courier says Gavin came back on Tuesday and broke down again - we are maybe looking at another two or three weeks for him which is frustrating.

    It’s a real worry that Gavin and now Wilson have pulled up in training. Hope this doesn’t happen throughout the season.

    Strange as they were both fit at Greenock Morton last season....

    Seemingly Wullie and Morrison have also been carrying injuries recently (see Standard)
