    Latest Chairman Statement

Well if I agree with anything in the Chairs latest "Lets heap a load more pressure on Russ" statement, its the bit about huge turning point on Saturday.
Win and it is a massive boost to morale of the club and I could see us pushing on to win the league.
A draw in this case would not be the end of the world although on top of the last few results might take some swallowing by some.
A loss, well lets not go there.
Unless the weather man gets it right and the gods intervene with heavy rain, a postponement could happen.
Its great to have a Chairman who seems determined to keep the fans in the loop so to speak, you would hate to have one of those chairman who undermined the manager though, now that would be a disaster..

    re: Latest Chairman Statement

There is no doubting that at times when results haven't been as we would all have liked he uses cryptic messages in his press statements to let everyone know what we should have done different.
I certainly think he is coming very close to trying to do Russ's job for him at times and whilst It's good to know he has some knowledge of the game press statements are perhaps not the best place to air those views. Leave that sort of thing to George Kerr.
