    Drop Messier and Rutter

And Summerville is walking on a knife edge too.

Given we are so close to the finish line, I can't see any of this happening now, Billy. Even though, on current form your suggestions are warranted! The only one that "may"be considered is Rutter onto the bench...but personally don't reckon he will want to tamper with it on the big stage. 🙄

And forgot to say...I wouldn't be overly concerned if Meslier headed off after tge season is done. Excellent shot-stopper, but I feel nervous any time the ball heads his way in general play...🤐

With could have 2 cup final type matches to play, all or nothing, would it be to much of a gamble to play two up front, say Piroe / Joseph,as we might aswell go down fighting, as opposed to losing 1-0, or worst still on pens.

Would keep Gray at 10 - he struggled first half due to Rutter both taking his space and not making forward runs to create movement and space.

Farke was asked if he told Rutter to hold the front line and he said no he gave him free rein to do damage wherever he felt he could.

If Piroe starts would make clear he is being subbed on 55 mins so that he can run his socks off.

Would definitely play Roberts if fit too.

My thoughts too but I might also go for benching Firpo, playing Byram there with Robert’s at RB. I know Firpo has crossing ability but his defensive qualities are frightening and we already have Messuplier giving everyone the eebie jeebies. Piroe starts and MJ replaces if not working. Archie in midfield with Gnonto to be replaced by James and Gruev and Kamara until he tires. Let Summerville roam all over the frontline - he usually has 3 players on him so it should create space for others if nothing else. Go 4-0 up then double down on the defence, swap Knackered Kamara for Anthony and add Cresswell in a back 5 subbing for Piroe who’s done his job by then. Easy

Think we have definitely missed a trick in lack of game time since Struijk got injured for Cresswell.

He is not only a leader on the pitch but fairly dominant in the air.
