Don't know if hes got a club yet but should we take a chance on Scott Allen? His health might be compromising his fitness levels so I don't even know if he's even an option now.....offer him training facilities? Then pay as you play?

Few would have expected us to land a 50 cap Aussie wing back. I was responding to the negativity, that's all.. This can be a strange board at times, GB gets slaughtered for negativity then I get pulled up for positivity. Hmm...

Think most folk feel that SA would be high risk given that he can't play 90 and is unfortunately carrying a health issue. A Scott Allan type of player is what we should be looking for so I can see why his name crops up. But given the signings of Mulgrew, Fletcher, Birighitti and Levitt I have a feeling the club will be searching for someone else.
    Hopefully they'll surprise us.

Scott Allan in his heyday is what we're looking for.
But did he ever have a heyday, poor guy?
Promised so much but bad moves & ill fortune got in the way.

Talking of which how is Scott Banks getting on downsouth?

Key Player for their u23s. This doesn't always translate into first team opportunities but he is still only 20. 21 in Sept. Highly rated it would seem. A couple of poor loan spells though up here.

Nothing to do with that. I was just pointing out that I didn't agree that was what he was saying, that's all.

I think levitt is more than capable of filling the role that Allen wld bring. if the option is still on the table a defensive mid more important and a Striker has to be a main priority.
