In an ever increasing long run of losses to our nearest and dearest neighbours, Charlton lose again in style by 3 goals to 1 to Millwall, an endless run which will reach 21 years come January 2017.
It's back to the drawing board for Karl Robinson, perhaps he can bring back Kevin Nugent who sparked a brief revival in fortunes when given the chance.
Millwalls' goals were scored by O'Brien on 40 minutes and Steve Morison scored a brace on 42 and 60 minutes. Charlton's solitary goal was scored by Nicky Ajose on 48 minutes which gave the team a route back into the team but they were unable to capitalise on it.
Charlton players: Phillips, Konsa, Bauer, Teixeira, Fox, Jackson (c) (Ahearne-Grant 86), Crofts, Lookman, Chicksen (Botaka 70), Ajose, Magennis.
