    Local Leaders

Are some of these local leaders for real and who the f uck do they think they are!

"An ICU doctor in Manchester has told Sky News local leaders need to "shut up" and "shut down, now" the city as hospitals fill up and "people are dying".

Not saying the country should go back in lockdown but two things perhaps would help:

    1. All universities to undertake distance learning and REPAY students accommodation costs and 50% of loans! Will they? Will they f uck as the greed machine is at it again.

    2. As seen in Liverpool the local youths still cause havoc when pubs close and are defiant regarding social distancing. Who cares if some of these people die but what about innocent families members or other people? Can't see why all pubs are not made to shut down unless they have an outside area/beer garden and even then table service should apply with sensible hours.

Boris does need to grow a pair as Scotland/N Ireland are coming across as more proactive in their approaches. Local leaders also need to be slapped down as who runs the country? Will local leaders take the wrap with more deaths in their areas or not listen to those manning ICU units etc? I think not!

Why is it that the majority of posters on this site come up with sensible comments or suggestions? On the other hand those who are actually in charge, no matter what affiliation they have, don't seem to have a clue. For a long time now I've been saying that the main qualification to be a politicianIt appears to be not very bright. I realise that it's a difficult situation but how much faith do you have in those leading us?

From the shenanigans of my local Parish Council to the very top of our Parliamentary system, I think we are ill served. As a famous Scottish comedian said " The very reason they want to become Politicians, should preclude them". Standing on the shoulders of Giants was never truer. Politics = Hollywood for ugly people. Just my view.
