I read that he's the brother of Brian Smith, a former popular coach of ours in the late 80s.

Oh dear , didn't see that one coming Chop , as you say he did a good job in difficult circumstances especially with the horrendous injuries to his squad .

Hey Animal & Chop, do you both remember Brian Smith, as he also coached Wakey.
Back in the late 80s when it was the Stones Bitter Champship, and we had the Top eight Premship Play offs as well after the season had ended.
He took us to two of those Play off finals in '89 & '91, and we lost one and won one, and they were against a top team at the time.. Widnes!!. How times chanhe ehh.

What a win tonight for Leeds away at Wigan, in the Super league title Semi final.
Im no Leeds fan of course, but I am really sick of both Wigan and St Helens. And it would be nice to see Salford really give them a game in the other Semi final tomorrow. 👍

Ive been busy with 🏥 stuff ☹️ Chops,
🐕 had 2 poor defeats earlier this month , i thought that worrit then , then they picked up again , very unlikely to beat Leigh , although they have had the odd wobble ! So who knows ( thu dunt want to go up )
