Not read much about him lately, is he setting Loftus Road on fire?
Good piece in the Mail yesterday on Graham Carr, (Alan's dad), when he was Chief Scout at Newcastle. Alan Pardew was manager and wanted to bring this striker in,
"Alan had a new centre-forward in mind and the analyst was ready with the clips. I'd been brought up on Jackie Milburn and had watched Malcolm Macdonald and Alan Shearer, and there on the screen was Bradford striker Nahki Wells. I'm thinking 'F**cking hell", sometimes you have to think how the fans would react. That one never happened."

Is he at Bristol City now ?
The day after we signed Brownhill from Bristol City for £9 million, we sold them Wells for £5 million. So superstar Josh actually cost us just £4 million. Not daft our Mike, looks after the money that lad.
That was at a time that Wells was in a run during which he started 65 league games for Bradford and come on as substitute on 26 occasions and had scored 42 goals.
In January 2014 he went on loan to Huddersfield but after 2 days Huddersfield actually bought him after he had come on as a sub and scored! He made a total of 145 league appearances for Huddersfield and scored 45 goals. His loan spell at QPR saw him make 66 appearances and score 20 goals and since he moved to Bristol City he has made 19 league appearances and scored 6 goals.
Overall he has started 252 league games and come on as sub in a further 80, of which 9 were for the Clarets with no goals, however, he has scored 113 league goals which is 1 in just under every 3 games.
I would say that the Championship is perhaps his level but he may have developed in a higher division if he had been given the chance.
I really was unaware of that sinkov. What a bloody brilliant Chairman we have. Have we signed Wilson yet?

A belter of a deal was that one sinkov, because Brownhill already looks to be worth at least £15 million.
