    Tonight's game

Should be a good game. Nice to see Philips starting again and fully deserved after his first game performance. Cooper starts on the bench, hopefully if he comes on he knows NOT to foul Phillips

Suiting Scotland at the moment - England have been surprisingly ineffective?

Just woke up in time for the second half. The guys in the studio are saying it is a poor game. What is it with England when they come up against teams they should be easily beating they do nothing?
They are also saying Phillips and Rice are well short on the form of the last game.
I this correct or more crap from specialists?

Pretty fair description of the first half.

I guess it would’ve been different had Stones scored, but Scotland could also have had one themselves.

I can see a difference from the last game Phillips played mid-attack roll this game he is playing his usual mid-def role.
    Why would Southgate do that?
On the game, the Scots look more likely to score.

Yeah, but why would you change a winning formula. He was superb in the attacking role and now just looks just ok nowhere near as effective.

This game lacked a bit of this.
