    Prediction League - Crystal Palace

Wolves host their last home match of the season against Crystal Palace, who are coming in confident after a 4-0 dismantling of Manchester United. It will be good to have GON back on the sideline for Wolves as he was suspended for the Man City match. Wolves are getting slightly healthier, with Cunha and Hwang playing more and more each week. I think we have our last victory of the season before we travel to Liverpool for Klopp's final match at Liverpool.

Last August after the dreadful summer goings on, many, including our own supporters, would have had us nailed on for relegation. In fact after the awful start, one win in five including a loss to Championship side Ipswich, it looked a certainty. Our Manager was being tagged as a PE Teacher, and the end of the World was upon us.

However things changed and we started to score goals and win matches. Man City were beaten as were Chelsea and Tottenham. A good Christmas came and went but then along came our injuries. Our strike force of Neto, Cunha and Hwang were side lined, and the youngsters were asked to step up. They struggled, but gained valuable experience and will progress from it.

We were safe in the mid table but the double over Spurs and Chelsea gave us hope of Europe, but the frailties of the small squad, and the loss of Dawson took it's toll. At the start of September many would have bitten your arm off for a 13/14 place finish and another season in the Premier League, despite what VAR has thrown at us.

FFP may prevent a massive rebuild in the summer but it is inevitable that some players will be sold in order to reinvest. I hope we hold on to Joao Gomes, Mario Lemina and Matheus Cunha,

Crystal Palace arrived at Molineux on Saturday riding the crest of a wave having won five on the trot, and having the week before ,thumped Man U 4-0. We had lost 5-1 the same weekend. It was always going to be a tall order to beat them. They are a physically big side who took their goals well, and if they can hold onto their current squad, they will cause many teams problems next season. Holding onto their stars may prove difficult.

As the game drew to a close, Wolves made several substitutions and they had an impact, but the two goal deficit was too difficult to pull back. A header hit the bar and their keeper pulled of some amazing saves. Interesting to see yet another youngster introduced to the game as Enso Gonzalez entered the fray.

On the final whistle many had left the stadium and did not wait to see the player awards at the end, which was a real shame for the players who in general have worked hard and given us some great memories of the season.

Sarabia took the award for goal of the season for his control and shot against Spurs, while fans player of the season went to Mario Lemina.
The Players player of the season award went to Nelson Semedo, well deserved.

Liverpool again our last match, lets hope we can at least try and spoil Klopp's leaving party.
