The Euros have helped through the close season

It's been a welcome boost to see football continue after the season ended in the English leagues, as those 12 weeks seem an age before we see our beloved Millers entertain us again.

Plenty to choose from and as usual throughout the Euros, which by and large have shown some great talent and games, the entertainment of football is there who follow the sport.

As the Monkees once sang, ''Disappointment haunted all my dreams'' is a familiar theme for the England displays. Always to raise our expectations of qualifying then............

Ah well, we have a great Rotherham experience to look forward to next season......as for England, will they suddenly come alight and make us dream again of another Euro final? Looking on their two abject displays so far it's fair to say no or.....

'It's coming home...it's coming home...footballs coming home''..........you decide.
