    Spurs vs Man City

    Early team news.

"Tim Sherwood is pleased with the progress of Younes Kaboul, Paulinho, Sandro and Jan Vertonghen - but insists he won't rush them back to face City if they are not completely ready.
All four players are back in training after injury lay-offs and played in last week's friendly win at West Ham.
Andros Townsend (hamstring) and Erik Lamela (thigh) are the only players not currently training with the group.
"The four lads are back in training but we have to be cautious of not rushing them back," said Head Coach Tim. "We have to make sure they are ready.
"Andros and Erik are the only ones not training at the moment.
"The lads are getting fitter, stronger and very soon we’ll have a full squad to pick from.
"That (having the full squad) will be huge for us. It doesn’t get bigger than City and the temptation would be to put them back in, but if they are not ready, it could be counter-productive."

4-5-1 against arse and they beat us with ease. 4-5-1 against city and hammered. Sherwood thinks packing the midfield he will stop the big teams? City have dropped points this season by playing badly and the opposition going for it. Sherwood didn't. We needed a strike partner for adi. We were beat by better team better tactics nothing to do with a lineo that doesn't unserstand the game.

I don't think it would have made a difference Harlow as another striker would have been just as isolated as Ade, who did impress me with his chasing down!

The problem lay not with packing the midfield but not doing that with some defensive midfielders!
There weren't any last night as Bentelab was totally out of his depth and, once again Dembele flattered to deceive and this left a gap between our defence and the midfield which was clearly illustrated by their 1st goal in which Silva was left alone to run at our defence and give the killer ball wh
