A local has set up a go fund me page with £10k target for a bronze replica. Do they know how much a bronze replica would cost? and wouldn't it be better to have a new tree than a sculpture.

Read a good article today which talks about how well sycamore trees regenerate. That stump should be a 30 foot tree in a few years. I’m not in anyway condoning the appalling vandalism. Just saying all is not lost. Nature will have the final say.
