Two wins with 3 goals scored and clean sheets on the bounce now for Guy Luzon's addicks and the players have a spring in their step. At one stage after Friday's win, Charlton were in a lofty 12th place in the top half of the Championship table before slipping to 14th after wins from Leeds and Reading but still on an upward trend.

Frederic Bulot opened the scoring on 17 minutes with a left footed drive. On 45 minutes Vetokele headed in goal from Bulot's cross outjumping three markers and the hatrick of goals was completed on 88 minutes when new arrival Chris Eagles scored from a quick counter break upfield.

Sadly for Wigan, their striker Leon Clarke was taken off wearing a neck brace after an awkward fall in the first half after receiving treatment during an 8 minute break. Here's hoping he has a speedy recovery but the incident should not detract from the excellent Addicks win. - view external link
