Not a very good day in front of a decent crowd. First half dreadful. Second half better, but never looked liked winning from the start. Two strange refereeing decisions with throw ins late on which should have went our way. We will improve! Gibson again the real deal, hitting
The post with a free kick.
Second goal.. Dreadful in that there was no challenge on the Accies player, huge expanse of space for the guy to exploit, absolutely no effort to close the man down. 'Mon the South.
Spot on Papa but we have to win or draw our home games. This league looks more competitive than ever with '' big '' teams Kilmarnock and Dunfermline both losing.
PS - New Bazaar on Whitesands up for sale so, hopefully, the new proprietors will support the great Doonhamer Fan club based there.

You and your good lady wife would look good behind the bar there pal ..........
I didn't see the games away at Thistle or Morton but it is the first time I have been disappointed with our performance. We were terrible in the first half and I have to question our ambition to win the match in how we set up. To me we were far too deep with a front three isolated from the rest of the team with McGrory and Cochrane on top of our own defence. Hamilton are due credit for pushing us back but this was an Accies team with no real form that we stood of until we went 1-0 down.I thought Connolly and Roy were lucky to be kept on after half time we need more from both them they need to keep the ball better. I think we improved with Josh Todd on the field with his strength helping a bit. The second goal was as poor as you will see with Connolly and McKay both far too slow. That must be that lesson learned for the season even thought it was a good hit by the Accies boy.
I thought best for Queens were Nditi and Debayo and I do like Paton's attitude he maybe worth pursuing as a striker.
The cup game may come at the right time I hope we do not experiment too much and try and bed down a system and style of play.
According to CDLH, Glasgow it will cost £175,000 plus VAT[/QUOTE]
That other great Dumfries Queens pub - the Globe, Market Square have to be congratulated on handing the club
£6,000 for youth development. Although down on the usual £9,000 because of the pandemic this is still a fantastic
sum raised by the Barflies.
