    Another record on Saturday?

    Apparently if we draw against York we become the first English team to gain promotion by drawing more games than we have won since three points for a win was introduced.

    The last time it was done at all was in the 1968/69 season by Rochdale and Bradford City who finished third and fourth in the old Division Four that year. Both won 18 with 20 draws.

    A record we can probably live without. Let's hope we can scrape a win against the best defence in the division at present and go out on a high.

    if you went back to two points for a win for this season.
    not much would have changed.

    We would have lost the title on goal difference which would have energised the POD's even more...
