    Everton Set To Sign Aiden McGeady (Again)?



    Everton Linked With £9.5m Menacing Winger.



    Everton manager Roberto Martinez could be set to boost his squad with the signing of Spartak Moscow winger Aiden McGeady. The Ireland winger is keen to leave Moscow, having failed to settle, and the Daily Mail report that Everton lead the chase to bring him back to the UK.

    McGeady has not settled in Moscow since his 2010 move to Russia, and earlier this month the club’s sporting director Roman Askhabadze admitted that the winger is unlikely to be at the club beyond the transfer window.

    ‘He was offered a contract extension by us, but he has refused it. He did it for family reasons, because his wife and children have not adapted to Moscow,” he said.

    ‘In the next transfer window, if we get an offer for McGeady, he will go.’

    McGeady is out of contract at the end of the season, meaning that he is likely to be available at a bargain price.
