    No ,Just pruning back when leaves die off.
    They grow like a weed, in summer 4-6 inches a day.

    Depends , a good sunny year you can eat them.
    not so good leave them to the birds.
    Not really enough to faff about making wine, when asda do a good rioja.
    But makes a change from normal plants.
