Hull v Swansea Sat 10 Feb 15:00
After the disappointing home defeat to Plymouth last Saturday, where we had so many chances to score but failed, we move on to try our luck at Hull.
We drew the reverse fixture 2-2 after leading 2-0 at half time. Hull have improved since then, are in the top six, and showed their intent by signing 7 players in the transfer window, the most notable Fabio Carvalho from Liverpool on loan.
There will have to be a big improvement if we are to get anything from this match. The positives are we are creating the chances and with the new signings adding pace to the team hopefully we can convert those chances into goals.

Trying hard to be positive. We are getting an unusual amount of injuries at the moment which is not helping things either.
If only Joe Allen and Patino were given more game time it would boost our midfield and what about Kuharevich, those crosses from Ronald in the Plymouth game were crying out for a big striker to get on the end of them.
Hull 0 - Swansea 1 (Cullen 11’)
Swansea City: Carl Rushworth, Jay Fulton (Charlie Patino 78), Ben Cabango, Matt Grimes (captain), Jamie Paterson, Josh Tymon, Przemyslaw Placheta (Joe Allen 66), Liam Cullen (Jerry Yates 66), Nathan Wood, Kyle Naughton (Bashir Humphreys 74), Ronald (Ollie Cooper 78)
Unused Substitutes: Andy Fisher, Mykola Kuharevich, Charles Sagoe Jr, Filip Lissah
What a brilliant win that was. A shock result at high riding Hull and still buzzing. It was a must win and we came good. I liked the 4-2-3-1 formation with Ronald and Placheta on either wing giving us the pace we’d been crying out for.
The goal was well rehearsed in the week and credit goes to coach Sheehan apparently. We did try the short corner and block again later but Hull had got wise to it.
Sweated it out for the 84 minutes after we scored and the added five minutes seemed an eternity knowing our propensity to let in late goals.
But no, we survived the late flourish, even with their giant goalkeeper coming up for the two late corners.
We had to win and we did, the table looks better, up to 16th and 7 points from the drop zone.
Some tough matches coming up but we have new heart after that win.

Alright boys, what a weekend, a few pints after that win, away to go.
Relieved to get the three points in light of what’s to come on Tuesday.
As long as we put up a good fight I’ll be happy against those run away Swansea dissidents.
