    Tykes v Rams.

After Wednesday evening’s underperforming disappointment what can we expect today?
The team has almost picked itself in recent weeks, but with Bielik’s injury and the availability of the ‘newbies’, things become a tad more complicated.
Imagine the back five might continue unchanged but beyond that...any thoughts?
Hopefully, given the relative security of their league position, Barnsley might have half an eye on next week’s glamour tie.
I’ll go for 1-1. Be happy with that and delighted with anything better.

They play the same in your face, pressing and harrying game that Rotherham do. They also like getting the ball behind the defence like Rotherham do. We are in for more of what we saw on Wednesday I fear.

    2-0.

If we can't beat Rotherham, logically we stand no chance against Barnsley

    1-0 Rams

If we can’t beat Rotherham, logically we stood no chance against Bournemouth, Swansea and Norwich.
‘Logically’ Burnley and Brighton wouldn’t have ever won successive matches at Anfield and the Blades might as well not have bothered turning up against United.
Here’s hoping (our) fight and desire play a bigger part than ‘logic’ today and the second half of your prediction comes true.

Well, we certainly ain't got the quality to beat 'in your face tactics' so that's us buggered then!
    3-1 to Barnsley.

Doubt the pitch will be playable tomorrow either if the snow forecast is to be believed

Half an eye? Our gk will have both eyes watching the ball keep flying past him.

Can see you winning, Gunt. Those Chelsea millionaires won’t fancy a frozen Oakwell. Good luck anyway.
