Hope you're recuperating well from your recent health problems.
You didn't miss much against Newcastle or Middlesbrough.
No chance of anyone getting over-excited in the coming season.

Yes, part of the rehabilitation, to be fair I’ve never been a believer that friendlies are much of a barometer of progress.

So I rarely go to them anyway

    Thanks for your good wishes

Been a good servant. But can't go on forever. Cooper I'd like to see given the chance.

Very reassuring you have or had a mate wendun.
For a while I was getting ' board ' and disillusioned by football almost ready for packing it in.
Your wise words may just have changed my mind.

Important that they track back but it’s a bit like using a kitchen knife as a screwdriver, sort of works but not what it’s designed to do.
Gorging on the cheese and washing it down with cider?

I went last night and it was a typical friendly game(too many changes to keep up with).I was impressed with Kayode up front and i thought the Millers played well for 15-20 mins at the start of the 2nd half.I was glad to be back in a ground to be honest.Good luck for next season.UTB

Thanks for the non- biased view rod.
We're hoping this season is a breakthrough season for Joshua Kayode, hopefully he gets plenty of game time and then takes the opportunity to impress.
    Good Luck to the Blades.
You don't have a 20 goal a season striker we can cadge for free do yer LOL.

We've got high hopes for young JJ. Who knows, he could be a dud or a genuine piece of gold dust. Some of us were calling for his return from Carlisle in January, not least because he would've been a free hit with regards the squad restrictions. But many, including Warne, thought it best to leave him there!

With hindsight (albeit I/we were saying it WITHOUT hindsight), he wouldn't have been any worse than George frigging Hirst! In fact, I'm certain he'd have been ten times better!
