Goodwin made two huge mistakes in the early days.
1/ Telling everyone they were shïite and were getting the boot at the end of the season
That could very easily have seen us relegated.
2/ Making Stewart captain
There must be some story behind this, it was bizarre.
Hopefully all these panic loan signings work, but I don't have a good feeling about it.

Well that was an eventful day. I do hope we are not in this situation again, but needs must and all that.
The only surprising thing was more players didn't go out the door.

I wasn't worried about Goodwin telling the players they were shyte, the issue was backing that up by signing quality.
Signing Stewart and making him captain wasn't really a ringing endorsement of us signing the quality needed to progress as a team, but I don't think Goodwin had much say in who we signed, which could well be a problem for any manager we have.
