We edge closer to Sutton who could only manage a draw today, but slip further behind Hartlepool.
Still in 6th but it's the teams below us we have to keep our eye on.
A couple of bad results whenever we get around to playing again and we could find ourselves in 10th.
The goals scored column, relative to most of our competitors, best demonstrates why our PPG rating isn't higher. Solve that problem and it's not beyond the realms of possibility that we could still catch Torquay.
I think they need to be deciding now how to come to a final table should the season not be finished. Personally, I can't see any way that all the games will be played.
PPG favours those who have made a good start and who may have tailed off a bit toward the end of the season. Clubs who might have made a strong finish are penalised - but there's nothing that can be done about that. It is what it is. If we fall into that second group, we have ourselves to blame.
When the league was curtailed last season, all the teams had played between 37 and 39 games apart from Torquay (36) and Barnet (35). This season, it ranges from 10 - 18! Also, as we are much further behind, we have played a lot less in %age terms of games, so PPG will be even less accurate as a prediction.
Any ideas what the alternatives might be?
Can't see PPG being used to resolve an unfinished season, unless far more games have been completed than have currently been played.
I would suggest at least 75% (33 Games), otherwise abandon the season.
If the mass vaccination works we may still get to that sort of figure.
A win tonight for Boreham Wood would have seen them go above us in the PPG table and see us hanging onto a play-off place on goal difference.
A 61st minute equaliser for Dover though looks like that ain't gonna happen with less than 4 minutes of normal time remaining.
5 minutes injury time. Boreham Wood down to 10 men.
Full time 1-1 Good result for Notts and keeps Dover off the bottom.
