How long are they going to drag this out for

its taking the plss now like. After all the accusations and the backwards and forwards, surely its time to announce the sale?

If it was going to be rejected, they would have had sufficient reasoning by now to do so.

Its going to pass but its gotten to the stage where the Prem are looking incompetent over this

Love to know what their excuse is now to continue to drag it out, They seem to now be refusing to give the nod in the hope that the buyers get fed up and move on. No other club would be treated like this its disgusting.

And to think when we got to this point of the deal we where told it usually takes 3 weeks to complete. What week are we in now? It's ridiculous.

If it's not done by July 4 the #cans hashtag may have to be rethought....

Seems to me with recent activity in Saudi regards dealing with the piracy issues that the PL gave them a chance to sort this out. There was a lot sorted over the weekend and again this morning, so if this is the case it shouldn't be too long now.
Once it goes through we could even be thanking the PL for giving them the chance to sort it, if this is the issue they could have rejected it straight away.

Aye, that has crossed my mind and goes back to the discussion we had a while back about the test not being a cut and dried 'yes or no' but, rather, involving a back and forth between the PL and the buyers.

We'll see.....if it goes through and the PL deserve credit, I've PLENTY of room for humble pie!

But I'm not ready to give them credit just yet.

Just stop reading the news. I'm sure you'll get a News alert on your phone when the deal is announced.

Does anyone think that the deal may be on hold until we are mathematically safe in the prem?

I can't imagine any scenario where I'd give those b@stards (premier League) credit.

No, I know what you mean and, currently, I'm right with you.

There's just that possibility that the PL have actually helped us out by not dismissing the bid out of hand at the first opportunity and instead have said x, y and z need to happen before we pass this so get them sorted and we'll speak again?

Just a thought-might not be the case.
