I doubt many have been sold yet and why bother buying beforehand when you can pay on the day.If we muster 1200 for this we'll be doing well.

Far to expensive in my opinion at £22 for adults and the senior citizen band does not kick in until aged 62, so that leaves me out in the cold.
Knowing our dismal away support we might reach a 1000.
We would take more put Vale fans keep alot of Crewe fans away because of the 'trouble'. If you get a coach there your 100% safe.
... until the bricks come hurtling at the windows?
Happened once, I was on one of the coaches that got hit. This was before we got a police escort to and from the stadium. People need to pay the money and get behind the team and help create atmosphere for the lads.
I have been to the ground in Burslem twice and felt intimidated both times. That 'atmosphere' I can do without - and taking the coach is a non-starter as I would be travelling the opposite way.Originally Posted by GSMITH
I will, however, be going to the U21s in Derby, and the next evening to Stevenage. I think that's enough?
Isnt the whole point of supporting your team threw thick and thin to be there for them on derby day?
If you feel intimidated, surely just sit and the back of the stand and get behind the lads. If you keep your self to your self you'll be fine.
Decent away following at Tranny so why not at the Vale too?Originally Posted by GSMITH
700 for a big relegation battle is not a good following. Teams like Oldham, Bury, Stockport, Tranemere. All have similar if not smaller home crowds but for alocal game would easily take 1000+
Our away support back when we were in league 1 and even the first season in league 2 when we took 1600 to Shrewsbury was miles better than it is now. People have just loss faith in the Alex
