Boyd's last day as a Claret?

    Predictive text!!!
    It's Boyd
His contract expires today so it looks like its goodbye George. Thanks for all you did and for lots of good memories. Sheffield Weds seem favourites to sign him. It's looking like they plan to be an ex Burnley team!!

I will add my thanks to George for the contribution he has made at Burnley over the past few seasons. Not always at his best, however, he never hid and always put in one hell of a shift.
Personally, I thought that he was always a big miss when he was out of the team.
No matter where he goes I wish him every success.

Best of luck Boydy and thanks.

Wednesday would be a good fit and I am going to have a quid or two on them for Promotion this season.

A great buy , his industry will take a lot of replacing. From personal experience a truly nice guy. But we move on and evolve .

Sorry to see him go. I think he could still do a job for us.

A great team player and he's been a real asset to us. I'll add my thanks and wish him all the best.

Strange how Boyd always seemed to be one of Sean Dyche's favourites and was always in the team even when he was going through a lean patch, yet money pinching Burnley will not give him a 2 year deal.

If he does depart good luck to him as he always tried his best not to mention eating up the ground more than everyone.

Sad day, he's epitomised Burnley under SD. Maybe a sign that we're trying to change the style of play next season.

Best of luck to him at his next club (unless it's Venkys!).

The Star understands free agent Boyd has agreed a two-year deal with the Owls and will undergo a medical on Monday.
