On another note been a lot of 3-0 wins awarded, I personally think this is quite random for a small group of three games, 1-0 wins seem more appropriate, it's not really fair on the other teams in the group that aren't involved or when it comes to best 2nd places finishes and might come down to goal difference

That is incredibly unfair on Freeman. Yes it’s unfortunate that Smith got injured but Freeman came in and firmly grasped his opportunity. Not sure what message that sends out to him and other squad players that despite that he’s still then immediately dropped again.

I don't think its him being dropped, its he has played 180 minutes over the past week and others need game time

The team picked is clearly to do with giving people minutes on the park and no reflection on anyone's performances in previous games. If you look at it from TC's point of view he could play the same team as the last game but then if anyone gets injured he starts the league games with a replacement who has spent no time on the park.

At the start of a season, it says to all 4 players with Robson/Duffy on the other side that if you want to keep your place, you better play well as you now have real competition. Smith/Robson dropped out and 2 guys came in and grabbed their chance, and if the established players dont make a good enough contribution, beware!

Not sure Smith or Robson were 'dropped'. Was it no' a combination of injury or suspension?

Apart from that, I absolutely agree; competition for that 1st team jersey is something every good club needs.

To me, "dropped out" has a different meaning to "being dropped".

Other than that, I have concerns about Mulgrew lasting full games, but if he gives us that every game, all concerns will be forgotten!
