    Player charged by FA for deliberately getting yellow cards to influence betting.

    Well this is a first, I've never heard anything like it but, when you sit back and take a deep look, I suppose it's another kind of match fixing.

    There are many players out there who gamble on games but haven't been caught yet. Now how about getting booked on a purpose so you affect the betting market.

    It makes you wonder how all this leaked out and how many more may be at it.

    When Sheffield Wednesday players got done for match fixing, one admitted one bet on a draw but losing 1-0 so he thought he might have to score a own goal, or give a penalty away.
    But they managed a draw in the end.

    Said in horse racing years ago,as soon as you could bet on a horse to lose.it opened the doors to corruption.which was the precursor to spot betting and other exotic bets.
