There's no denying vaulks is a good bloke.
I once went to watch them train down at roundwood. Vaulks trains just as his advice in the letter suggests, full of energy and with a beaming smile on his face. During target practice if any of the players hit a wild shot which went way over or miles wide they just turn and trudge back to the line of players, leaving the youth lads to retrieve the ball. Not vaulks, if he hits a dud (rare), he bolts straight after the ball and retrieves himself. Very grounded young man.
