    Coventry v Swansea

    Coventry v Swansea Sat 21 Sept 15:00
Our next opponents are Coventry this weekend.
Straight from their 1-2 home EFL Cup defeat v Spurs on Wed night they will have had little time to prepare for our match and any advantage is gratefully received.
A heroic effort on the night, they were the better side until two very late goals from a lacklustre Spurs swung the tie. Making it more interesting was a clash of the ex-Swans - Jake Bidwell against Ben Davies, both having solid games.
Long serving manager Mark Robins has put together a strong team and they will be tough opponents. They reached the FA Cup semi-final last season losing to Man Utd and the season before lost to Luton in the promotion play-off final, both games decided by penalty shootouts.
Surprisingly we have a good record against the Sky Blues, long may it continue.

Ben saved a certain goal that would have put Coventry two up.
A tough fixture this, we’ll do well to get a draw.

Made my weekend that win. It’s a tough place to go and they are a very good side. They were a bit out of sorts today though, not taking anything away from our performance.

Well boys, two happy weekend’s in a row. Our first away win of the season after two narrow 1-0 away defeats, one of them to top of the table West Brom. We are not conceding too many goals so far, only 4 in 6 games, but scoring them seems to be a problem, 7 in 6 games, with the guy brought in to score them, Vipotnik, left on the bench yesterday.
