The chances of Hearts being able to afford Shanks is negligible I'd say. I imagine the only club in Scotland he'd have a realistic prospect of going to are us but we'd then have to take quite a hit in the money they are, more than likely, still due to pay us.

The whole thing seems pretty unlikely to me.

No sure Terence,we are locked in yet another battle with them for the signature of Sligo Rovers highly rated keeper Ed McGinty,meanwhile Zander Clark is a transfer target for Stoke City and i reckon they get more from Bet365 than we get from Quinn Casino so put your money on Red rather than Black is my advice.

So no Butcher seen in the training video yesterday meaning that we have now lost Benji, Levitt and Butcher for next season. 3 massive players for us. Bit worrying to be honest.

He will be a loss but the others are a bigger loss imo. Like you say though along with losing the others Harkes would be a miss but i wouldn't be held to ransom for him, there will be plenty players out there and available that could bring what Harkes brings. Butcher, Benji and Levitt not so much.

We knew that Butcher, Levitt and Benji were leaving, well before the seasons end. I would like to think that the wheels would have been in motion for replacements. I would like to think we will have most of our players in before the preseason in Spain in a couple of weeks. I can see next week being a very busy week for us!
On Harkes...he is a player that even his other teammates reckon is a "baller", I think with the right players around him, he could be a very good player. But if he is unsure of staying, I say that we get him out the door as we can't start to rebuild if we aren't sure what we are building with!
