Agreed - some of the football has been pretty good. Poland and Romania both played some good attacking football. Though Czechs weren’t bad last night and were unlucky.

Tin hat time……women commentators like a screaming banshee, rather watch it with the sound off.

With advance apologies to MT - I sometimes do wonder that the pundits and commentators on women’s games are almost exclusively female whereas for men’s games we are now often getting a presenter and pundit from the fairer *** - does seem very equal.

Dunno who the UK TV football commentators are nowadays - but i've seen/heard a few snippets of the ex-women footballers yapping on BBC & cannot fathom why their 'accents' sound like a subset of 'Multicultural British English' which appears to be a mix of urban English incorporating various multicultural elements including some from the Caribbean, South Asia.
Dunno what's happened to the trad Cockney spiel or indeed the South London twang which i still have. 🤔
All of the matches for the European Championship in France are on television, either on beIN Sports, TF1 or M6, mostly subscription channels & have some decent pundits with a dash of female "hotties" to keep folks watching during the breaks ! 😅

The games i've seen appear to just lack that bit of quality in the box finishing wise, imo, but good to see that teams want to attack with high tempo using the pitch width.

All the talk in the bars/cafes is about the French team camp being at odds & now Mbappé out adding more woe to their misfiring team so far - not helped by the other below very 'hot-topic' currently aired in parts of France.

Will be interesting as there are at least 8 teams that realistically could win it if they find form.

Let’s see what Mr Southgate serves up tonight.

Not sure if you get decent coverage of these games, but Copa America starts tonight.

    First up: Messi versus Marsch…
