Berardi / Forshaw - how reliable

Berardi - great commitment, passion, spirit, and a decent enough player, but after a run of injuries, some pretty serious, and with a few more years on the clock, having now to face Prem level attackers, is MB expecting too much, the same really for Forshaw, unlucky with injuries, but its a long road back, to get anywhere near the levels MB demands, let alone the speed, quality and rigours of the Prem.
Be great if both could return, fully fit, stay fit, and challenge for places, but with Koch out, Llorente having issues, Cooper & Roberts also prone, could be a gamble to far.

Think Forshaw may be done - still not clear when he is due back. Not sure we will see him this season as don’t think he has progressed from exercise bikes as kicking a ball was making his injured area feel sore - no one seemed to know quite why which is the worrying thing - albeit that was the position pre Christmas - maybe he has progressed since then.

Berardi I think adds to any match day squad as he is supposed to be a model pro with very high standards who is a little intimidating to younger players so exactly the sort of player to get others on their game. Likely to have a go at the likes of Klich and Phillips if he thinks they are shirking.

Not sure if I rated Forshaw anyway. Bit of hit and miss, and that was in the championship.

Can’t say anything negative about them. Forshaw so unfortunate with injuries. Decent player. But we now have to move him on one way or another and bring in better and fitter midfield players.
Berardi is great for covering different positions across the back four. But again I feel we need to let him go and bring in quality.
It’s just the nature of football and we must keep
Improving so they are not what we need to be relying on now in answer to the post.

True sniffer - like Forshaw but if he was a race horse ......

Wonder if we will keep Berardi on in a player coach role as seems to have done well when coaching

    Forshaw,Beradi.
    Thank you, Good Bye
We are in the premier not Div 1
Not one team in the prem would even think about that pair, probably the Championship.

Strujik is better than both of them. Some size and physical (not that Berardi isn't) and a whole lot of upside.

Time to develop him. we aren't going to Europe and we aren't going to be relegated. Get some of the young pups (1 or 2 at a time) and let them season.

appears we are losing Alioski. Foreshaw is toast and Berardi is over the hill. Hate to say it but you have to move on and we've not had the greatest luck in the transfer market over the years. Other than Raphina I'm not sure of anyone that I'd say was a real catch. Most we developed ourselves.
